For the technically minded, the voice is modulating a 110Hz en:sawtooth wave, which is the note A two octaves below en:A440. There is also some en:reverberation and phasing added. This is my competition entry for earth. It is comprised of copies of a kick drum recording and a high hat recording i've done with some phase vocoder processing. This short sound is really about 7 tracks of layered audio.

This is my wind entry for the competition. It's derived from some recorded voice and putting a microphone in various containers while the wind was blowing. I was able to get some interesting sounds from this, then i used some mutation effects, convolution, and phase vocoding to combine the voice and the wind sounds into this short piece.
